Crystal discovers the book The Prophecy while searching Zebra Print Park. While visiting the Penguin Palace, Crystal is informed of the book's importance, so she reads during her travels to Monkey Island.
The Prophecy
From two powers shall emerge a single entity with the balance of good and evil. This balance of strength will grow from a flower into a forest surpassing all from the beginning.
In the beginning, corruption stems from the West bringing chaos and imbalance to the West Bank Commons of Noore Continent. Ruled by evil, the West Bank sprawls its white sands along the edges of the Sallow Ocean. An evil power, a sorcerer of dark nature, grows his power from pure destruction. Wars within the Western Commons consume its foundation and so grows the power of evil until all is destroyed.
To the East lies Farmoore, also of the Noore Continent. I, Christopher Farmoore possess magical qualities and I am ruler of Farmoore, a magical land where townspeople live at peace with their surroundings. Unlike the evil sorcerer of the West Bank Commons, I am a healer, a mind reader, and a prophet. Just as I am of good character, Sabastian of the West Bank has an evil character. He cares only for control, manipulation, and dark curses.
I have seen the future that is your present, and once the pages of The Prophecy fall upon young eyes, so begins the balance of good and evil. As the Bringer of Balance grows, a talent to foresee the future will increase with the wisdom of old age.
Once Crystal discovers the key to Monkey Island, she reads more of The Prophecy, but is distracted by a handsome man named Gerald.
The Prophecy - continued
The family grows like a tree digging its roots further and further into the soil, taking hold and becoming stronger with each passing day. My son, Tegan Farmoore is strong like those very roots and he possesses greater telepathic and healing powers than I do. Like you he has set out upon a quest of his own. On this quest, he will take a bride and the couple will build a civilization outside the East Woods.
My son has a pure heart that lends itself to self-destruction. With every breath of illness Tegan takes in when healing, he will lose power and become weaker; such will be his legacy. His legacy will also come from his creation of The Land, the civilization formed from the free-roamers of the high and middle territories. Following the healer Tegan, dedicated souls will build a community in the snug crossing between Farmoore and the East Woods.
With uprising taking place in The West Bank Commons, the evil sorcerer and ruler, Sabastian Elderbee has sent Rose Elderbee, his only daughter to Farmoore to ensure her safety. Rose, a beauty with dark hair and hazel eyes, possesses powers, but without guidance her talents remain largely unused. The beauty tries to capture the attention of a young man, but no one can distract Tegan from his calling to leave Farmoore. Rose attempts to follow my son in the hopes of capturing his heart and presenting her father with a man of power and possessions.
Tegan knows that Rose’s evil father would be pleased to have her marry into the Farmoore family line, her father would claim the new territory and Farmoore as his own. He would use his same controlling powers he has done with the City of the West. Rose's father, the Ruler of the West, builds his strength by creating chaos among humankind, and the need for control over all territories drives his corrupt heart.
Crystal, enthralled by Gerald, the sorcerer's son entrusted to escort her back to The Land, fails to finish her book. Not until Chapter Five - Unveiling, does Crystal finish The Prophecy and discover her connection to the sword she has carried from the start of her journey.
